Before filling out your application, it's important you know about a few critical requirements we consider when placing a dog in a new home.  

 

1. Please be patient. We receive hundreds of applications each year and do our best to match you with the right schnauzer. This can take time. Though responses to applications may be slower than larger rescues, we promise we WILL get to yours as quickly as possible. 

2. Effective August 1, 2020, our adoption fee is $300 for a dog 9 years and younger; $150 for dogs age 10 and older. Please understand that adoption fees do not begin to cover our rescue expenses. It is critical to our success in running the rescue. 

3. The dog must be kept as a mostly indoor dog - we do not adopt to people who lock the dog outside and leave.

4. You must agree that for the life of the dog, if you cannot keep him/her for any reason, you give the schnauzer give back to us.  We never want any of our dogs going to the humane society, animal control, or down the street to the neighbors.
